What is the Time Frame for Making Dentures?

Typically, the clinical visits are spaced out to allow us to facilitate our in house lab, to create the proper appliance for each step along the fabrication of your new denture. Most cases require 5 visits or so to get the measurements and aesthetics the way we would like to see them.
These visits can be spaced out within days or weekly. Either way, the best treatment, in my opinion, is the one over a few weeks, as this allows us to better assess your oral situation while we see you over a period of time. Most appointments are 10-15 minutes long. After insertion (when you receive your denture), we plan to see you at least once per week for the next 2 or 3 weeks for fine tuning of the biting surfaces and tissue side surfaces.
